With fees payable each fortnight, becoming a student means you’ll have access to our regular newsletters, private Band groups and studio events.

Our pricing allows us to provide quality dance and positive well-being lessons at our modern facilities. New students are invited to get started with a free unlimited class pass for one week. Try Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acro AND Cheer if you’d like! We want each and every individual student to fall in love with their favourite dance class styles.

View our programs in your age group, and contact us on 0422 816 950 to discuss any questions you may have. Alternatively, click on the program you’re interested in to sign up online.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are many dance schools in our local area but families who send their children to us often remark that they finish every lesson smiling.

Positive body image is a huge priority for us and we also encourage children to act and dress their age. This means no midriff tops, and age-appropriate routines in performance and competition.

We take the time to encourage and foster a community environment where everyone feels included and has their turn at being front and centre.

No, but most students do. All classes have a half yearly and end of year performance that the students work towards.

We ask that your child wears an Applause Performing Arts leotard or shirt to classes and black pants/shorts/tights. Optional uniform extras are also available for sale at reception.

This allows us to create a strong team environment, and allows us to see correct body alignment for safe dance technique.

Our standard student to teacher ratio is 15:1 for younger classes and up to 20 for older. That means that if there are more than 15 students in a class, a trained assistant teacher will also be in the studio. Sometimes our smaller classes will also have a trained assistant teacher, depending on the age group and style.

Yes! Our focus is on performances and teamwork, with our Troupe classes entering Eisteddfods throughout the year for additional stage experience.

You can pay your fees through the parent portal at the start of every term via Paypal or credit card OR you can let us deduct your term payment in 6 smaller payments throughout the term.

Students prepare to perform in our half yearly and yearly performances at The Greater Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre in Plumpton, which is only 15 minutes drive from our Studio.

If you move away from the area and our studio can no longer reasonably be accessed by you, we will refund the remainder of your term fees. Please note that a cancellation fee of 4 weeks of fees will apply.

Unfortunately term fees are non-refundable in the case of injury. We welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn, and allow for makeup lessons once students are fit to return to class.

We do not offer casual classes for school-aged students. Adults can come to drop-in classes for a cost of $25 per lesson. Contact us to find out more.

We have a no-hassle cancellation policy. Simply email admin@applauseperformingarts.com.au to complete the member cancellation form to request your membership be cancelled for the upcoming school term. No further payments will be taken. Please allow 14 days for your cancellation to be processed.
